Bruxism and splints
Teeth grinding and jaw clenching (also called bruxism) is often related to stress or anxiety, and most people who grind their teeth and clench their jaw are not aware that they are doing so.
As many patients will use an occlusal (or discharge) splint for tooth protection, and are not symptomatic of jaw or muscle pain, it is extremely important that the splint is very comfortable and of minimal dimensions.
We offer you the first Nylon Relief Splint to treat patients with bruxism and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems, using the most advanced technology in 3D printing.
- Made of Polyamide 12 with Class IIa biocompatibility certificate.
- Optimum resistance to wear and tear.
- Very light and comfortable during use.
- Prevents the accumulation of bacterial plaque and the alterations produced by the passage of time.
